Last weekend my company moved to Crystal City. This is bad, because it makes my commute about 10 minutes longer each way. Its also bad because Crystal City is a soul sucking hell hole.
But the biggest problem is the lack of soda carts. My old neighborhood had 4 carts within a two block radius. Crystal City only has one cart that we can find; the selection is terrible and the people working there are mean. We are afraid to ask how much something costs.
Also, a coffee update. Crystal City, being a soul sucking hell hole, has a Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s, Caribou, and about three places that sell Seattle’s Best. We went to Caribou yesterday. I forgot to put milk in, but it was still good. And the faux hunting lodge feel can’t be beat.
The downside is that they are all a long walk, except Dunkin’ Donuts. The close proximity of Donuts and junk food already has people talking about the CC15.
